(FMD Impact Registry) Fibromuscular Dysplasia Findings and Outcomes Rochester, Minn. To describe the clinical, laboratory, pathologic, imaging findings, therapy and outcomes in all patients with Fibromuscular Dysplasia (FMD) and/or segmental arterial mediolysis evaluated at Mayo Clinic retrospectively (back to 01/01/1990) and prospectively (starting 04/13/2016). A Study of Long-term Symptom Improvement and Recurrence After Operative Management of Median Arcuate Ligament Syndrome Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to evaluate long-term symptom resolution and quality of life improvements after operative management of median arcurate ligament syndrome (MALS). A Study to Evaluate the Process of Aging in Human Atherosclerosis Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to critically test the hypothesis that senescent-cell derived factors (cell aging), in particular IGFBP3, suppress the innate repair capacity of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMC) in human atherosclerosis. A Study of Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Adherence and Vessel Wall Penetration Following Intra-arterial Delivery Subsequent to Controlled Balloon Angioplasty Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of MSCs that adhere to predetermined areas of arterial wall following balloon angioplasty vs no intervention, and to characterize the effect of intra-arterial injection of MSCs on predetermined areas of arterial wall via transcriptome analysis. A Study to Collect Thoracic Specimens to Develop a Thoracic Specimen Registry Rochester, Minn., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz. The primary objective of this proposal is to develop a Thoracic Specimen Registry at Mayo Clinic. The purpose of the registry will be to support ongoing research in the etiology, early diagnosis, clinical management, and prognosis of lung cancer and other cancers and diseases of the thorax by developing a complete repository of specimens from patients with thoracic disease including but not limited to suspected lung cancer, mediastinal and pleural tumors and from patients at a very high risk of developing other thoracic cancers or other thoracic diseases. Study to Determine the Accuracy of a New Venous Air Plethysmograph in People with Normal, Incompetent, and Obstructed Venous Hemodynamics. Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to determine the accuracy (sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive predictive value) of a new venous air plethysmograph in people with normal, incompetent, and obstructed venous hemodynamics. Estimation of Biomechanical Aortic Wall Properties in Healthy and Aneurysmal Aortas Using Novel Imaging Techniques Jacksonville, Fla. The primary aim of this study is to establish the practicality of using two novel imaging modalities for the assessment of biomechanical properties of the aorta. Detection of Vascular and Inflammatory Plasma Biomarkers in Patients Diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and MRI-defined Cerebral Small Vessel Disease Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study is to evaluate plasma biomarkers of vascular function and inflammation in patients with newly-diagnosed Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and pre-existing imaging evidence of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CSVD). Retrospective and Prospective Lymphedema Database Jacksonville, Fla. The purpose of this study will be collection of standard and routinely obtained data specifically in the preoperative evaluation; operative room, postoperative/hospitalization period, and long term follow from the electronic medical record. A Natural History Observation and Registry Study of Macular Telangiectasia Type 2: The MacTel Study Rochester, Minn. The purpose of this study is to develop a Registry of participants with MacTel Type 2 (as confirmed by the Reading Center) who may agree to be contacted for inclusion in future clinical trials. The Registry participants include new participants and participants from the NHO, Genetic I and Genetics II studies who agree to continue to participate. The second objective is to continue to identify whether there is a genetic link associated with MacTel Type 2. All participants who have not previously provided a blood sample will be given the option to provide a blood sample for genetic sequencing.
